Case of Chinkapin

6 bottles of your favourite blend at a great saving. Our Rose cepage is 51% Chardonnay, 16% pinot Noir and 33% Pinot Meunier. In the preparation of our wine, we take great care to emulate 'Methode Traditionnelle', using 14 different clones/rootstocks to mimic the typical French practice of blending grapes from a number of different vineyards to add interest and complexity.

The grapes are then pressed gently in a traditional Coquard basket press to ensure only the highest quality juice is extracted. The wine remains in vat for twelve months to optimise volume fermentation, before blending with precisely the right quantity of red wine, set aside from our own vineyard, to achieve that special enchanting and seductive colour that is the signature of great Rose.

Lees aging in the bottle follows for a further 12 months before it is released for sale. In common with our Cuvee, the Pinot Noir adds charm, body and sensuality, the Pinot Meunier encourages early maturing richness and fruitiness, while the Chardonnay, brings brightness and clarity.
